Pre-Employment drug testing is mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT), but that is only the beginning. Once the negative pre-employment drug test is presented the driver can be added to Work Well's random drug testing program pool. Once added to the random drug testing pool (consortium) the driver can be randomly selected for drug testing throughout the year. If a positive DOT drug test is ever detected the CDL driver will have to be seen by a Substance abuse professional (SAP) for an evaluation. The SAP will then determine how many observed drug tests would be needed in conjunction with any classes to complete a program. If a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) driver every gets into an accident then a post-accident drug test will be needed to be completed within 32 hours from the accident. At Work Well, PLLC we can perform any of these DOT drug tests for you.
Rest assured Work Well, PLLC only use laboratories that are certified by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under the National Laboratory Certification Program (NLCP). They are permitted to participate in DOT drug testing and comply with the requirements in 49 CFR Part 40, as well as, all applicable HHS requirements, including conducting validity testing to determine if the specimen has been adulterated or substituted.
At Work Well, PLLC there is no need to have an appointment for a DOT drug test. Walk-ins are welcome and we will get you in and out so that you may have a fast DOT drug test experience.
